What do I wear?!?

Dress to impress. The fashion police will be out in force all weekend long. No, seriously… this IS our Met Gala. It may be June, but let’s pretend it’s the first Monday in May. The outfit you have always dreamed of wearing but maybe worried it was a bit too much? It’s not. Remove the phrase “too chic” from your vocabulary and put it in your suitcase.

Welcome party? Cocktail attire.

Wedding? Black tie preferred.

Brunch? Morning chic.

All other? Nantucket Reds of course, and general island chic! Do bring a sweater or jacket. As that fog rolls in, it brings a chill.

Will transportation be provided to the events?

Transportation will be provided to the Siasconset Union Chapel from downtown Nantucket for the ceremony and from the Chapel to the Nantucket Hotel for the reception. Please see our events page for details on when and where to get on board.

Can I bring a plus one?

As capacity at all venues is limited, if your invitation does not specify a plus one we cannot accommodate them.

Can I bring my kids?

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special weekend adults only. Thank you for your understanding. However, Nantucket is a family island, so if you want to bring your children, feel free to do so and contact the island’s best sitting service, NANNYTUCKET.
